Choose your phone type below

DATA Configuration
  1. Turn On Wi-Fi
  2. Log on to a server (Safari)
  3. Type in https://www.airvoicewireless.com/apn/Airvoice.NewV1.mobileconfig into your address bar
  4. Select install (top right corner)
  5. Select next
  6. Select install once more
  7. Select done
  8. Once installed turn off Wi-Fi
  9. Turn on cellular data
  10. Power cycle the phone off and back on
  11. Then log on to the internet by selecting Safari (which is the Internet/browser) and entering a URL
  12. Your data should be programmed at this time
When you are through browsing, always remember to turn off your Cellular Data by selecting:
  1. SETTINGS
  2. NETWORK
  3. Once in NETWORK, look for the Cellular Data bar and select it to turn it OFF. The next time you need to browse, turn your Cellular Data back on. This is an option, to preserve your MB that you are provided with on your data plan.
If you are still unable to browse at this point, please contact customer service from a different phone to make sure your account is set up accurately.

Preferred Method

1 APN
  1. Please go to your main screen
  2. Select “Settings”
  3. Look for the option of Wireless & Networks, then select more and/or mobile networks
  4. Tap Access Point Names
  5. At the top of your Access Point Name screen, you may see several options depending on the device, select the option that applies:
    1. an icon with three-vertical-dots (located in the top right hand corner)
    2. Menu Key
    3. “more”
    4. “+” icon
  6. Tap “Add New APN.”
  7. From there enter the appropriate settings:
    1. Name: Airvoice
    2. APN: att.mvno
    3. Proxy: 66.209.11.33
    4. Port: 80
    5. MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
    6. MMS Proxy: 66.209.11.33
    7. MMS port: 80
    8. Authentication Type: PAP
    9. APN Type: default,mms
  8. Tap the menu key/icon
  9. Select “Save”
  10. Next to Airvoice, highlight the circle to the right (it will show either green/blue once selected)

    EXAMPLE:

  11. Restart your device

If you experience issues with data, try resetting the APN TYPE (step 7-i) from "default,mms" to "default,supl,mms"

***Once you complete all the steps listed above, make sure “Use packet Data/Data roaming” is turned on.***


Alternate Method

DATA Configuration
  1. On the device, go to the Menu
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Wireless & Networks (or Wireless Controls)
  4. Select Mobile Networks
  5. Select Access Point Name
  6. Press Menu
  7. Select New APN

  8. For the Name: Mobile Web • Tap OK
    For the APN: att.mvno • Tap OK
    For the Proxy: 66.209.11.33 • Tap OK
    For the Port: 80 • Tap OK
    For the Username: LEAVE BLANK
    For the Password: LEAVE BLANK
    For the APN Type: default (or select INTERNET if available)• Tap OK

    Note: Make sure default is in lowercase letters
  9. Save the APN and, if necessary, select Access Point Names and tap the radio button next to Mobile Web to set the profile as default
  10. Press the Menu key
  11. Select Save
  12. Return to the home screen and power the device off and on.
MMS Configuration
  1. On the device, go to the Menu
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Wireless & Networks (or Wireless Controls)
  4. Select Mobile Networks
  5. Select Access Point Name
  6. Press Menu
  7. Select New APN

  8. For the Name: Mobile MMS • Tap OK
    For the APN: att.mvno • Tap OK
    For the Username: LEAVE BLANK
    For the Password: LEAVE BLANK
    For the MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com • Tap OK
    For the MMS Proxy: 66.209.11.33 • Tap OK
    For the MMS port: 80 • Tap OK
    For the APN Type: mms • Tap OK
    If available, for the Authentication Type: select PAP • Select OK

  9. Press the Menu key
  10. Select Save

Once you have completed the steps listed above, and power-cycled the device, your data and MMS should be ready for use. If you are still unable to access the web please:
  1. Turn your WiFi OFF.
  2. Visit “Wireless and Networks” to make sure your DATA ROAMING is ON and Enable 3G is ON.
  3. If you are still experiencing any issues, please contact customer service from a phone other than your Airvoice Wireless device to make sure your account is set up accordingly.
